The Updated Blog Mission Statement

Leading up to the start of my service with the Peace Corps, the content and tone of my blog changed but I hadn't update its original mission statement ... until now. As an Idealist, the Peace Corps' mission is in alignment with my own vision of world peace and friendship:

In 1961, President John F. Kennedy established the Peace Corps to promote world peace and friendship. The Peace Corps' mission has three simple goals:
My blog is a vehicle to achieve the Third Goal of the Peace Corps, and the updated Mission Statement is as follows:

'Laugh Loud and Often'

This blog is one of the manifestations of the Third Goal of the Peace Corps: Helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.

I have decided not to change the title of this blog, in part due to my subscription base of two longtime lurkers who would get very confused, and downright angry, by a title change.

I have been asked to attend a craft-fair in the Middle Atlas, so I will not update until my return sometime early next week.
